I have practiced and studied Tibetan Buddhism (Drikung Kagyu Lineage) since childhood. In 1990, I received my Masters Degree in Advanced Buddhist Philosophy. Upon graduation I received an award of excellence from His Holiness The Dalai Lama. At the request of His Holiness Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche I served as a volunteer for many years teaching Tibetan language, Buddhist philosophy, and history.

I also held variously the positions of Instructor, Head of Examinations, and Assistant Director while serving as secretary to His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche.

From 1995 onwards I taught Tibetan Buddhism in the United States as well as serving as Director of the Drikung Kagyu Centers of North America.

I completed a traditional three year retreat in the U.S., practicing Mahamudra and the Six Yogas of Naropa. I have done various secret practices of Vajrayana Tantra during retreats. In 2003 I did a six month retreat at Milarepa's cave in Lapchi on the Nepal-Tibet border. This year I completed a six month retreat in India.

I have set up the Bodhicitta Foundation to coordinate my work in North America. The Bodhichitta Foundation is in the process of being recognized as a U.S. non-profit organization. It has been officially recognized by His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche, head of the Drikung Kagyu lineage. The Bodhichitta Foundation will benefit the West with teachings, a future center and retreat land, and the East by preserving ancient texts, Tibetan culture, education, women's rights, and health.
